The core services of INFRAFRONTIER comprise model generation, systemic phenotyping of mouse mutants in the participating mouse clinics, as well as archiving and distribution of mouse mutant lines by the European Mouse Mutant Archive (EMMA). With over 7600 mouse strains archived, EMMA is the third largest mouse repository in the world. In addition, INFRAFRONTIER offers specialized services, such as germ-free mouse generation, and provides access to a broad portfolio of pheno-genomics training courses. Reduction and refinement to improve animal welfare are among the major goals of INFRAFRONTIER's technology development activities. The recently released INFRAFRONTIER Cancer Resource (https://www.infrafrontier.eu/infrafrontier-cancer-resource) allows to browse the entire EMMA collection for genetic associations with 50 different cancer types. To enhance our understanding of cancer, INFRAFRONTIER offers specialized resources such as manually curated cancer mouse models (https://www.infrafrontier.eu/infrafrontier-and-cancer-research) that are available to the cancer research community. There is also a unique archive (https://www.infrafrontier.eu/resources-and-services/access-emma-mouse-resources/nki- gemm-esc-archive) of embryonic stem cells derived from validated genetically engineered mouse models of cancer provided by the Netherlands Cancer Institute.
