In the field of urban economics, there are some aspects of interest deriving from urban commons concerning in many ways the link between urban space and economic results. Where, in this area, a theme that indirectly interests, concerns the analysis of the gap that is created between the expectations of citizens and the realization of projects (choices-outcomes), to the point of soliciting the attention of many on the temporary use of places, underused, abandoned or waiting for the long time of planning (Storper, Manville 2006). With respect to this field of analysis, the stronger interest could be found at a local/urban scale to find the specific processes/relations at the base of a kind of commons' value. While, by the other side, verify the presence of a public administration able in the co-realization of public-commons governance projects. Looking at a specific urban context, given by the Naples (Italy) inner city center and its recognized civic and collective use communities, we will try to explain the viability conditions residing within the inherent experienced public-commons governance system.
